Objective: To design a recognizable mark that would be adaptable to all mediums and would stand out amongst other young marketing communications professionals.
Solution: The choice of the minimalistic execution was informed by the decision of the logo being used on various social media platforms. I whittled the icon to its bare essential parts so that the “VR” could be identifiable on any device. The colors used were colors that were associated with luxury and precision. This luxury direction was a huge departure from the bright pastels of other female communications professionals. I am extremely happy with the result and I was extremely humbled when I heard that professionals from the offices of Microsoft, Facebook and Google took a liking to her branding.
